Sleeping bag Defense 1 is a lightweight sleeping bag with extremely small dimensions and minimal weight. It is more suitable than a summer sleeping bag, or for a transitional period. The casing fits freely over the internal structure and provides an additional layer of insulation without cold seams and other joints. This design provides heat reserve for cold, foggy nights. During warmer weather, the bottom can be opened with a bi-directional zipper to ensure ventilation. The zipper is not blocked so you can get out of the sleeping bag quickly and easily.
Used technologies:
G-LOFT plus filler: made of high-quality two-component polymers. In fact, the G-loft filling structure is similar in many ways to high-quality goose down. Three-dimensional ripple provides maximum elasticity and soft surface.
Mummy-like shape: size, weight and thermal criteria play the most important role here. Tapered foot section reduces the weight and size of the sleeping bag. The main advantage, however, is that there is less and less internal space gradually from the knees, which allows for better warming and improves thermal comfort. The foot part should not be so small that the feet \ "push the insulation \" layers. The trapezoidal shape proved to be ideal.
Trapezoidal foot: Experience has shown that the trapezoidal cut provides maximum foot space in the normal sleep position. They do not touch the insulating layer so that cold spots do not occur. This cut also provides a place to store spare clothing.
Thermoflect: increases the sleeping bag's ability to retain heat by about 11%. Thermoflect is the solution to reduce the loss of heat radiated by the human body. It is an ultra-light, flexible and breathable fabric with a unique ability to reflect body heat.
Simple, non-quilted layer: in this lightweight construction, the outer cover is loosely attached (no joints). G-LOFT ISO + cartridge is quilted. As a result, an air gap is created between the quilted insulating layer and the outer sheath, thereby creating no "cold" seams.
Two-way zip: All Carinthia army sleeping bags are equipped with a two-way zip. The slider on the top does not have a lock and allows for quick and easy sliding out of the sleeping bag. The down slider is locked and is ideal for ventilation control. The length of the zipper is 150 cm.
